Erick & Syddonna came up with the idea of making fabric from potatoes during a brainstorming discussion.
Experimentation with extraction of fibres from potatoes began
Sadly, this did not work and the Norman Esch application was unsuccessful.
We explored a new idea, leather made from potatoes!
The idea proved possible as the prototype was successful.
However, more work was needed to get it ready for market.

Foobric, was chosen to be a part of the Nobellum Innovators Program of 800 applicants.
Foobric won the Nobellum Innovator Pitch Winner (Idea Stage).
Foobric was nominated for the City of Toronto Small Business Forum.
Foobric participated in the Innovation Boost Zone (IBZ) Showcase.
A new member, Tracey, joined the team.
Foobric joined the University of Toronto, ICUBE program.
October 2023-
November 2023-
Foobric won the City of Toronto Small Business Forum “People’s Choice Award”.
Foobric partnered with Jamaica Business Development Corporation.
IBZ supported our 1st employee.
Foobric connected with Science Discovery Zone
